Experienced e-commerce manager (with lots of other fancy hats)

It's great to meet you! I'm glad you're here.

I entered my second career as an online content creator & eventual team leader after seven short years as a high school English teacher.

Since 2012, I have worn many hats for my clients: social media manager, virtual assistant, customer service rep, marketing manager, product developer, e-commerce manager, sales manager, and communications manager.

And, like most folks who are addicted to working with small businesses, that's not even close to the whole list of things I've been called.

In short, I will represent your brand with authenticity, heart, and pluck.
  • I have an uncanny ability to empathize with you and your customers.
  • I have a Master's degree. It's in education and I'm not using it, but at the very least it shows I can follow through and make deadlines.
  • I understand voice and tone and know how to dangerously wield them.
  • I know that SEO is important if I want to keep my job.
  • I am a skilled student. If I'm not already an expert at something your business needs, I will be.
  • I enjoy marketing and interacting across social platforms, and understand the power of engagement.
  • I have a good eye, a pretty decent camera, and experience in Photoshop CS and I'm not afraid to use them.
  • I have experience managing both a classroom full of 15-year-olds and an online staff, so managing myself is a piece of cake.
Please stay awhile and check out my experience and portfolio while I grab us some coffee.
